Maccabi “Bazan” Haifa Israeli Basketball Team Hires Former Syracuse University Associate Head Coach Bernie Fine as Basketball Consultant

The Maccabi “Bazan” Haifa basketball team of the Israeli Basketball Super League announced today the team has hired former Syracuse University associate head coach Bernie Fine as a basketball consultant. Fine, who will be based in the United States, will consult the Maccabi “Bazan” Haifa management on player personnel decisions as well as the team’s coaching search for next season. Fine, who worked with Syracuse University for 36 seasons, had the longest active streak of consecutive seasons at one school among assistant coaches in Division I.
